Kevin M. KRAFT, Singer-songwriter

As with writing, Mr. Kraft taught himself guitar and songwriting at an early age, becoming a prolific artists who would go on to distinguish himself in the contemporary Christian groups POTTER’S CLAY, FORGIVEN & FREE, GLORY  FLIGHT and BALAAM’S ASS in addition to being an accomplished solo artist. Kraft names, among his greatest musical influences, classic artists like THE ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA, JOHN DENVER, SAM COOK, GARY PUCKET, JOURNEY, THE SPINNERS and several contemporary Christian artists like THE IMPERIALS, ANDRUS, BLACKWOOD & COMPANY and PETRA--just to name a few. “All of these artists have influenced me in some way…writing, playing, singing. I hear them all the time, even if no one else does."

Kraft wrote the single, Tell the World Not to Turn specifically for Topworld and highlights the influence of the rock group JOURNEY, underlined by blistering guitar work by virtuoso Terrance Moulder.

"We originally wanted to get Steve Perry of Journey to provide the vocals," says Kraft. "But...Providence intervened, and Terrance and I are priviledged to be collaborating with the legendary Gary Puckett, truly one of my favorite vocalists!"
